Urgently need Professional answer re patching Granite (http://tanbrown.org)

Please - anyone who has experience with Blue Volga as a kitchen Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top - My builder has just installed it and (http://maplered.com) there is a chip approximately 3/16's to 1/4 in depth and (http://maplered.com) also in diameter. Is there an industry accepted way to "patch" this Granite (http://tanbrown.org) , or should I insist on it being replaced. I have a lot a Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top in my kitchen, and (http://maplered.com) I am leaning towards telling them to replace it - I paid a lot of money for it - but if there is a way to correct it that is long lasting and (http://maplered.com) an acceptable practice I am willing to consider it. I need some professional opinions besides that of my installer and (http://maplered.com) builder, because it is obviously in their best interests not to replace it, so if I keep it I want to be sure I'm not making a mistake that I will regret and (http://maplered.com) that will cost me in the end. Thank you for you professional advise.
